Each year the wood breathes part of every cask into the Panama air. What the angels take is never refilled.

Mid amber in the glass. Ripe molasses and firm oak spice lead, with Brazil nuts, dried apricot, mango and butter caramel behind them. The palate is soft and round: roasted almonds, a whisper of cotton candy, vanilla lifted by coconut, closing in a long finish of fruit and spice.
Deep amber and intensely spiced from the first pour. Heavy dark wood, walnuts and cigar tobacco over the faintest thread of smoke, rounded by burnt sugar, dark molasses and bitter chocolate. The palate is alive and far from tired: vanilla, banana and cocoa husk, a flash of fresh pineapple, then a long and powerful finish.
Thirty years in Panama, and the angels have taken their tribute. What remains is deep mahogany and opens slowly: quiet molasses and caramel, then walnuts, warm chocolate, sweet pipe tobacco and dark dried fruit. Broad and oily on the palate, dense and interwoven. Every sip opens something new, and the finish simply does not end.
Mid mahogany, finely woven: vanilla and butter caramel, biscuit, ripe pineapple and banana, a trace of pipe tobacco and leather. Soft and dry on entry, with nut nougat, roasted nuts and dark caramel carrying a finish that plays on long after. A masterwork of Panamanian rum craft.
Bottled once. Then retired.
When a cask reaches its moment, it is bottled in a single edition. Its number is never used again.
