Where to Buy

The rum. Tasting notes.
Aroma
Aged Wood, Toasted Nuts, Cigar Tobacco, Smoke, Burnt Sugar, Dark Molasses, Bittersweet Chocolate
Intensely aromatic from the first pour, opening with warm spice and deep aged wood. Layers of toasted hazelnut and walnut fold into cigar tobacco and a quiet thread of smoke. Underneath, burnt sugar and dark molasses settle into bittersweet chocolate. The nose is bold, layered, and unmistakably old.
Palate
Vanilla, Ripe Banana, Pineapple, Mango, Passion Fruit, Cacao, Dark Chocolate, Caramel
Full and rounded across the tongue, arriving with vanilla and ripe banana before pineapple, mango, and passion fruit brighten the middle. Toward the back, raw cacao and dark chocolate deepen the sweetness, with a slick of caramel pulling it together. Generous, tropical, and weighty all at once.
Finish
Oak Spice, Clove, Star Anise, Saffron, Candied Orange, Charred Wood, Lingering Smoke
The finish is long and slow, settling into oak spice, clove, and star anise. Threads of saffron and candied orange lift the close while charred wood holds it down, and a faint trail of smoke lingers on the breath well after the last sip has gone.
